B’s is a tiny converted gas station on the road that now carries its name. The McLawhorn family cooks whole hog overnight on charcoal pits, chops it by hand, and serves it with a sharp eastern vinegar-pepper sauce, smoked chicken, and corn sticks.
There is little indoor seating. Most plates land at picnic tables under the oak, or leave as takeout. The day ends when the pork and chicken are gone, often well before a posted afternoon close.
